Installation instructions

1.

We prepare the soil on which we are going to lay turfgrass by removing existing weeds –tillage –raking.

2.

We install the irrigation system which is essential for the turfgrass.

In shaded areas we install an independent station.
We never install different sprinkler types at the same station.
We never install both sprinklers and drippers at the same station.

3.

We apply the suitable fertilizer (5 kgr/100 m2).

4.

Then we lay the turfgrass and pay attention to lay strips in the same direction during the whole process. We also make sure that strips are joined together without any gaps.

5.

We are watering even while laying the turfgrass if the weather is hot; after the installation, the watering frequency should be set so as to ensure that the root system of the turfgrass will not dry out at any time. We check moisture levels on a daily basis while the root system is growing(plants can get water from a larger volume of soil) and we limit the frequencyof watering accordingly. When turfgrass is fully installed, approximately two weeks after it is laid, we water once or twice a day.

6.

To mow the turf, we stop watering completely. Pay attention not to mow if the turfgrass exhibits increased humidity. We should be able to walk easily on the turfgrass and the mowing machine should not sink into the soil.

7.

Afterwards, we follow a maintenance program which is suitable for every different case in terms of fertilizing, watering and mowing.

Indicative setting of an automatic irrigation system right after installation.
